James Purvis - Chief Investment Officer (CIO) & Director
James has over 34 years of experience within the financial services industry, with much of this being in the area of managing investment portfolios or rating Fund Managers. Between 1976 and 2007 James worked in senior actuarial, investment and management position in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Brussels and New York. He has held senior positions in various funds management companies including National Mutual (AXA), Macquarie Investment Management, Lumley and Oceanic Capital Corporation. More recently he was also the Chief Investment Officer of Grosvenor Financial Services, a firm specialising in investment and financial advice for high net worth clients.
James is highly regarded within the industry for his extensive knowledge of portfolio management, construction and risk analysis. James is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and a member of the International Association of Consulting Actuaries.
